Playing with Google integration

Does blogspot let me limit who can read my blogs? I don't see any options to limit posts based on circles. That's about the only reason that I would have continued to blog and link my google plus account to my blogger account.

I feel like there needs to be some fair bit on anonymity  to this. Maybe I don't understand the whole blogging idea. That narcissistic need to have validations on what is essentially a diary. What happened to keeping a diary under lock an key?

There was an article recently that said that people would forego money to talk about themselves. Rather amazing isn't it? The "hear me!" "validate me!" "share everything" generation.

I want a journal. I want to work out my private demons. I don't want to share until I feel like I have something decent to say. Why would anyone want to read my stuttering prose about essentially nothing?

Oh well, this is a failed medium for me at the moment. Way to go google. Is there something wrong with me that I don't want to be social just yet?
